Outbounds

Learning beyond the campus

Learning at Thinkers Valley does not stop at the school gates. Our Outbounds programme takes students into Jaipur, across Rajasthan and further afield, turning places, people, cultures and challenges into opportunities for meaningful learning.

Field trips, expeditions and residentials are carefully connected to the projects students are exploring in school. A study of water might lead to the stepwells of Jaipur and the villages of Rajasthan; a project on sustainability might take students into the Aravalli landscape; an exploration of trade, architecture or history might lead from Jaipur’s markets and forts to Jodhpur, Udaipur or Delhi. Older students may travel further still, undertaking residential expeditions that develop independence, collaboration, resilience and a deeper understanding of the world.

The journey is part of the learning. Students investigate, question, create, navigate, collaborate and reflect. They meet people beyond their usual experience, encounter unfamiliar environments and learn to respond to real situations rather than simply study them from a classroom.

From Jaipur to Rajasthan, India and beyond, Outbounds will progressively broaden students’ horizons, connecting local heritage with global perspectives and turning experience into knowledge, understanding and personal growth.
