Language opens doors to different cultures, perspectives and ways of thinking. Students develop communication, confidence and an appreciation of difference through authentic experiences with language.
Hindi is woven through the Early Years through stories, songs, conversation and play. From Senior Kindergarten, students begin French and Spanish, with opportunities to develop sustained pathways in French, Spanish, Hindi or Sanskrit as they progress.
Students use language through conversation, stories, performance, collaboration and authentic experiences. They learn to notice patterns, express ideas, listen carefully and consider meaning from another perspective.
French and Spanish open doors to diverse cultures and communities, while Hindi and Sanskrit deepen connections to India's linguistic and cultural heritage.
We want students to move confidently between languages, cultures and perspectives, curious about difference and comfortable beyond what is familiar.
Rooted in India. Open to the world.
